Training Times And Expectations

Training days/times to be announced.
Occasionally a special alteration in training time/location may be planned, this would be announced at the end of the previous training session.  Please try to be nearby at the end of training, a time when any messages are given out to families.
Expectations
Players are expected to be on time and attend all training sessions, unless arranged otherwise with the coach.  If unable to attend it is expected that the coach is notified beforehand.
Infrequent or tardy attendance, or unexplained absence, will all impact on a player's selection in the team.
This is a basic approach with all Lockleys FC Juniors teams.

U9 Modified Playing Rules

a desperate shepherd for a teammateU9s play on a 2/3 size version of a full sized ground.  A normal Australian Rules team of 18 players take the ground and adopt the standard positions.   Players can run 5 metres before they have to bounce the ball, or dispose of it.  They can only bounce once with each possession.  There is no tackling or soccering.  They are allowed to bump, but not tackle or barge.
